Wanna Bet? 6 years and counting

6 years ago GrowZA made a bet on a capability, not a cause.

We are proudly cause agnostic.

We believed that in a world increasingly shaped by interconnected challenges, the ability to connect people, ideas, institutions and resources would become as valuable as subject matter expertise itself.

We believed that translation is valuable and that convening power = market influence. We bet that the capacity to move between sectors, disciplines and communities would become a strategic advantage.

So we never built around a single issue. We built around an approach.

Six years later, our work spans education, water, youth employment, sustainability, disability inclusion, community development and a host of other fields.

To some, that may look "eclectic". To us, it is entirely consistent. Its not deurmekaar, It's "deur mekaar" :-)

Six years in, the evidence is far from complete. But the market has responded in ways we could not have predicted.

The bet appears to be holding.
